The initial design

Our client provided many design sets initially to be reviewed by ownership, ultimately the client selected a bright scheme to match existing colors throughout the unit layouts. Our team assisted with ensuring the paint locations were properly identified and coordinated with the client.

The product

The interior hallway and amenties locations receive a lot of wear and tear from move-ins/move-outs, it was imperative to our team the that durable products were installed to ensure longevity of the coatings system. Many factors were considered:

• Appropriate initial substrate preparation and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion of paint systems
• Drywall repairs & joint repairs prior to painting
• Existing drywall substrate unevenness from construction with additional primer systems applied to mitigate flashing

The project

Due to the height and location of the building our team prepared accordingly to ensure our safety and logistics were planned in detail to include:

• Team location mapping to ensure timely project execution
• Daily planning and strict hours to minimize resident impact
• Equipment positioning and storage locations
• Safety assurance and oversight of the equipment operators and painting crews
• Phase planning and coordination with our team on a weekly basis
